I wish I had an unlimited amount of shoes in my closet so that every outfit I won had it’s own pair. One day I’ll happen. During the winter, I buy a lot of different wintery shoes such as boots and in the summer I buy more flip flips that I can count. I’m still looking for a few more to buy by the way. From Merrell shoes to Old Navy flip flops, I will have them all one day! You can never have too many shoes !
I’m really excited to go see Batman tonight! I hope plans to work out tonight, but I’m not keeping my hopes up though just in case!

Michael’s dad left for the rigs a few days ago. It’s interesting hearing him talk about all the different stuff and people he deals with and what he has to do. It seems like his job requires a lot of strength and will. I’m not sure if I would be able to do that. He mentioned he had to get certain types of clothes so that he could handle rough conditions and whatnot. He has a friend in the police department and he told him about getting 5.11 Tactical Pants. They all for all-purpose pants and keeps people go through rough conditions and inclement weather. I thought that was pretty cool. I also think that his dad got a pair of those or maybe a few!

Sometimes you take for granted the family you have near you. For about a year or so now, I’ve been content with the life I’ve lived I guess. Coming down here to visit his family made me realized how happy family makes you. I miss having so many relatives that I couldn’t even count. I miss the huge family dinners we all used to have before the fights and grudges each family holds.
I miss California and Vietnam a lot. ?

This house is pretty nice. I like it a lot. Although the two regular rooms are rather small, the view in the backyard is amazing. There’s a large lake with catfish in it and it just looks awesome. That reminds me, I want to take a picture of it before we leave. Speaking of the house, the living room is really big, big enough for a home theater system. There could be home theater lighting in the room which would make the place awesome. They just moved in so they haven’t done all that yet.

There was a good point mentioned yesterday while he was getting his eye exam. His uncle asked why he didn’t have a watch because he wanted to get him sone of those luxury watches on at the outlet. Michael said he didn’t need one because he had a cell phone. He said well when you’re working you can’t just take out your phone. And when you’re in a business meeting making a speech, you can’t take you phone out to look at the time. That’s what you have your watch for! I think that’s a really good point. I think I’ll start wearing my watches again soon when I get back home.

Today was a pretty nice day. His uncle took us to eat wings for lunch and then we went to a bbq car meet. It was pretty cool. It’s like the ones Michael takes me back at home expect its for Honda Preludes and there’s more people. His grandma steamed crawfish for dinner which I didn’t eat, heck no! And she was going to cook pigeons but she decided not to, thank god!
The highways here are a lot like the ones in LA. I guess it makes sense though. I heard someone say that in some states, the gov’t is going to make people get a Bluetooth headset for when they talk and drive in car. If they don’t, its a ticket! Weird. Not sure if I want one.

Everything down here reminds me of California. The Family. I miss when everyone would go out to big chinese buffet dinners together. We went with his family last night and it made me really reminiscent of California. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun together; I wished I was in California with my family. His family seems really nice and caring. I miss having gigantic family dinners whether it be in California or Vietnam.
His dad’s place is really nice. I think his bathroom has like a walk in tub or something but I enjoy it a lot here. His cousins..or uncle are really nice and Americanized haha. It makes me miss my family very much.

I miss Europe and Vietnam. I miss that one summer when I went to both continents. It was the best experience and summer ever. I remember the long hot walks in France and Germany and the amazing views of the Swiss Alps. I also remember getting all those different stamps on my passport whenever I would step upon a different country. Too bad I don’t have those stamps anymore because it expired. But I think I took a picture of it. Heh. Maybe next summer, I’ll be able to visit Vietnam?

Amy Winehouse is an interesting character I must say. I can’t really judge because I don’t know her at all but she’s been all over the news and I can’t help but wonder what’s going on in her head. She’s been to several drug rehab centers I think and she’s currently being treated for her weak lung or something. Well I just wish her luck and I hope she fixes her hair, that thing is Marge gigantic.

I’m pretty satisfied with my car, it’s been very good to me! Well maybe because it’s not that old of a car. I know someone who has a relatively old car that needs to get a new one. He’s been trying to save up for a new one but he just can’t seem to because he’s got over stuff to pay for. Well his dad recently said he could help pay for a new one because his current car is not really working properly anymore. His dad wants to get it in the state he’s in and I’m wondering how the insurance would be when you switch to a new car? I guess he’s going to have to look for car insurance quotes to see what the whole deal is. I like car shopping, I can’t want to go with him!
