post What happened?

Some of my friends birthdays are coming up and its time to plan some big gathering once again. We do this every day and I guess it never gets old; except when some people are too cheap to pitch in to their loyal friend who never hesitates to spend a penny on any celebration including yours. We usually try to fine something kind of pricey because they cannot get it for something reason and also some nice and funny personalized gifts. I love being in charge of that kind of stuff. I’ve always been good at that; being creative and creating it as a gift form. Well off I go brainstorming.

I wish I had an unlimited amount of shoes in my closet so that every outfit I won had it’s own pair. One day I’ll happen. During the winter, I buy a lot of different wintery shoes such as boots and in the summer I buy more flip flips that I can count. I’m still looking for a few more to buy by the way. From Merrell shoes to Old Navy flip flops, I will have them all one day! You can never have too many shoes !

I’m really excited to go see Batman tonight! I hope plans to work out tonight, but I’m not keeping my hopes up though just in case!

Michael’s dad left for the rigs a few days ago. It’s interesting hearing him talk about all the different stuff and people he deals with and what he has to do. It seems like his job requires a lot of strength and will. I’m not sure if I would be able to do that. He mentioned he had to get certain types of clothes so that he could handle rough conditions and whatnot. He has a friend in the police department and he told him about getting 5.11 Tactical Pants. They all for all-purpose pants and keeps people go through rough conditions and inclement weather. I thought that was pretty cool. I also think that his dad got a pair of those or maybe a few!

post Skin!

My mom has been nagging me to find a good aging cream or product for her. We went to Costco’s last weekend and this lady was advertising an aging product. It seemed like it was a phony so I just told my mom to ignore her. Well being my mom, she wanted to hear what that lady had to say. I told her I’d promise to look for better products for her to use.

I promised but I didn’t really plan on looking for any during school time. While I was surfing online, I came across this website that supplied aging products. This cosmetologist and scientist devotes her time into improving her anti-aging skin care line. Chantal Burnison created a substance that can make skin be more stretchy like young skin has. This product has been reviewed by scientists and has been passed as a safe and effective way to reduce aging in the skin. This product will help both men and women; I’ll be sure to mention this to my dad as well.

His uncles day off is Wednesday and I think he’s taking us to the beach! I’m so excited. Last time I was really excited about going to the beach was when Shantel took us to the Outer Banks. I love going to places I never been. Awesome, this reminds me, I have to start taking some darn pictures !

Today were going to a cookout his other uncle is hosting for all of his car friends. I can’t wait, it’s going to be a really hot day. But filled with family again. :)

I used to travel a lot every summer but when I got to college… actually never mind I still do travel. And I do love it. I love airports and plane trips. I love everything about it…just about. The only thing about travelling is the chance of getting sick and not having any insurance. Yeah I sure don’t have any. I should get some kind of travel health insurance just to be sure. Maybe when I get a little older and I could afford it myself rather than having my parents pay for it.

post The 2008 Beijing Olympics song

I loveeeee it and it makes me really excited about being Chinese even though I almost failed my Chinese class but on to the point, this song is hitting me deep for some reason and….. I’m proud to be Chinese and I can’t wait for the Olympics. I wish I knew at least half of the artists in there but sadly I don’t…but I do know JACKIE CHAN!! hahah

Here’s the translations, it has wonderful lyrics!

Another morning is coming, and brings in the fresh air
Our friendship will never change, just like the fragrance of green tea
My door is always open for you, and I’m here for you with open arms
You’d know me better when you hugged me, and you will love it here
Be my guest no matter you are from home and abroad
You are here as promised, friends we welcome you
I grow green plant at home to show you all the legends in the past
I want to plant in the soil to make you good memories
Friends and strangers, you are all my guests, and please be at home
No matter how many times we meet, there are still a lot to talk about
Welcome to Beijing, we will show you a brand new place
The charm of Beijing is full of life
Welcome come to Beijing, let’s breath together in the sunshine
We want to make new record on this yellow soil
I always keep my doors open, to welcome the world
The old ages is smiling like youth, to welcome that day
We are all friends, please make yourself at home
With all the smiles, I am here waiting for you—-By Hangeng
Welcome to Beijing, May my music touch you
Let’s working hard and try to go beyond ourselves
Welcome to Beijing, it’s great to be able to have dream
Just be brave and there will be a miracle

So I booked this white water rafting trip for August and I’m really excited about it. When I did it, and when we were discussing it, it didn’t hit me yet that we were actually going. Well we are, because I already reserved a spot! I’m really excited about doing something like that, like I’ve always wanted to do! Next up, I want to go skydiving! hahaha.. maybe a little while after the rafting trip, we’ll see how that trip goes.

I’m crossing my fingers about a possible road trip down south! I really hope I get to go!

It’s 11:11am! Make a wish!

So I’m waiting for the time to be 11:25ish so that I could get to class. I’m going to do some major studying today in class, and not paying attention in 282 because..I have the book and the powerpoints, it’s kind of useless. But I like my teacher, he’s cool. He didn’t go to class yesterday so we just watched a 45 minute video on marketing and whatnot and after that, we all went home an hour early. :) It felt nice! I’m hoping I will be able to go to the pool today but if not, it’s fine.

I kind of wish I was a hairstylist right now, my hair isn’t cooperating. It doesn’t look like it did the day I got it cut. And I usually don’t like it right after I did it cut.  :X

It’s supposed to be really hot again today, a record high, but I think it’s going to be normal once again tomorrow…that’s means I HAVE to go to the pool today ! Must call Sunny.

post Friends

I’ve departed from a couple of my friends. Well actually one. I’m not sure if I’m content about it or not but right now, I just don’t want to deal with anymore incompetences. I’m tired of immature-ness and I guess nothing lasts forever. As she said, the friendship will pick up back itself if it’s meant to be. Things were nice while it lasted. But let’s face it, people change, people grow up, yes, we grow up.

I don’t really have a reason to go back home except to visit my parents, but they’re rarely there so I just go visit them at the shop. It’d be nice to go visit my friends that are three hours away though! Maybe some weekend, when I’m not working.

post The Dog

June 5th, 2008

I have to admit I’ve gotten rather attached to the dog. Sure he smells, and sure he’s quite a handful but the thought of something bad happening to him, makes my heart break. Recently, his friend got ran over by a car. His owner, Michael’s friend is really sad and depressed. It’s hard to make it surreal that he’s gone because I just saw him about a week ago. His butt is a pain when he’s being bad. He’s still a puppy so he pees and poop on the carpet whenever we forget to take him out but he’s getting better at telling us when he wants to go, which is like every freaking hour or less. But all in all, sigh, I hope I don’t regret saying this but.. I love that little doofus.
