post HGTV

I’ve been watching a good amount of HGTV these past few weeks, especially during Spring Break in Canada. I love House Hunters and a lot of other shows but there are a few that I don’t like. The plumbing and electricity shows, I don’t really enjoy or it doesn’t really catch my attention but sometimes I still do watch it. One of the reasons why I like this channel so much is not only do they talk about houses and the costs of it, but they try to cover the other importance of life, and senior life insurance in the future and the costs of caring for your kids in addition to purchasing a house.

HGTV is possibly taking over Food Network for me !

post Shopping

After reading The Confessions of a Shopaholic, I had the urge of going shopping. But that urge seemed to plan quickly as I realized that I don’t have the money to spend. Using the credit card would be a no go because my dad pays for that and that’s only for gas and food uses. So I don’t think I could ever be like the main character and buy 10 dresses and day or Hublot watches for my boyfriend.

Maybe in about a year or so, I can finally start thinking about that tho..after I get a decent job..

My organization started up a charity proposal with CTEF and we’re thinking of how get the word out there to the university. We already dedicated our big show to the cause and we’re planning an international festival in honor of the charity. We’re hoping to raise about 6 grand to help build schools in rural China.

We were brainstorming about what type of promotional products we could potentially use. We had ideas from pencils to plastic wristbands. I think all of those are good ideas and I can’t wait until we order them and see everyone on campus wearing and promoting the charity!

My friend is in New York right now for spring break with her boyfriend. I’m pretty jealous but Michael and I just went there for New Years, which is better. ?? One of the things that we didn’t get to do was to stop by Wall Street. I know it’s just a street with Wall St jobs and big buildings and whatnot but it’s an attraction that I want to experience, just like Times Square. We also didn’t get to go to Times Square because it was blocked off but it’s okay because it was freezing when we went.

Maybe someday soon, we’ll get to go again together.

post Reading

I used to be very fond of reading but nowdays I just seem to have the time. I like it a lot when I’m required to do though. So for Economics class, since I’m doing so horrible in, my teacher offered extra credit. If I read an econ book I get 5 points added to my final grade. We have two books to read if we want, so in total, I can get 10 points total. Ten points is a lot, especially to.. well everyone. So I just recently started reading one of the books. It’s pretty hard to keep myself from continuing to read because of the subject, which I am not interested in at all. Writing the papers and getting my points are really the only things that are motivating me.

There was a dicussion about manufactered parts and where they are from and it made me wonder about all of the things around me. Random things really. Like, where are the Ferrari parts from?

Some of my friends birthdays are coming up and its time to plan some big gathering once again. We do this every day and I guess it never gets old; except when some people are too cheap to pitch in to their loyal friend who never hesitates to spend a penny on any celebration including yours. We usually try to fine something kind of pricey because they cannot get it for something reason and also some nice and funny personalized gifts. I love being in charge of that kind of stuff. I’ve always been good at that; being creative and creating it as a gift form. Well off I go brainstorming.

I wish I had an unlimited amount of shoes in my closet so that every outfit I won had it’s own pair. One day I’ll happen. During the winter, I buy a lot of different wintery shoes such as boots and in the summer I buy more flip flips that I can count. I’m still looking for a few more to buy by the way. From Merrell shoes to Old Navy flip flops, I will have them all one day! You can never have too many shoes !

I’m really excited to go see Batman tonight! I hope plans to work out tonight, but I’m not keeping my hopes up though just in case!

Michael’s dad left for the rigs a few days ago. It’s interesting hearing him talk about all the different stuff and people he deals with and what he has to do. It seems like his job requires a lot of strength and will. I’m not sure if I would be able to do that. He mentioned he had to get certain types of clothes so that he could handle rough conditions and whatnot. He has a friend in the police department and he told him about getting 5.11 Tactical Pants. They all for all-purpose pants and keeps people go through rough conditions and inclement weather. I thought that was pretty cool. I also think that his dad got a pair of those or maybe a few!

post Skin!

My mom has been nagging me to find a good aging cream or product for her. We went to Costco’s last weekend and this lady was advertising an aging product. It seemed like it was a phony so I just told my mom to ignore her. Well being my mom, she wanted to hear what that lady had to say. I told her I’d promise to look for better products for her to use.

I promised but I didn’t really plan on looking for any during school time. While I was surfing online, I came across this website that supplied aging products. This cosmetologist and scientist devotes her time into improving her anti-aging skin care line. Chantal Burnison created a substance that can make skin be more stretchy like young skin has. This product has been reviewed by scientists and has been passed as a safe and effective way to reduce aging in the skin. This product will help both men and women; I’ll be sure to mention this to my dad as well.

His uncles day off is Wednesday and I think he’s taking us to the beach! I’m so excited. Last time I was really excited about going to the beach was when Shantel took us to the Outer Banks. I love going to places I never been. Awesome, this reminds me, I have to start taking some darn pictures !

Today were going to a cookout his other uncle is hosting for all of his car friends. I can’t wait, it’s going to be a really hot day. But filled with family again. :)
